Prof. Guiqiang Li

Biography:

Guiqiang Li, Male, is a Special Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of University of Science and Technology of China, serving as the deputy dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has long been engaged in basic research on advanced energy technology and solar energy utilization, and has been selected for the National Talent Program, CAS Talent Program and Anhui Talent Program, EU Marie Curie Scholar, Wu Zhonghua Outstanding Young Scholar. In recent years, he has achieved a series of original results in solar energy, low-grade energy generation, building energy efficiency, and intelligent integrated energy systems. For four consecutive years, he has been selected as one of the top 2% of the world's top scientists by Stanford University. He has published more than 100 SCI papers, 41 H-index, 2 ESI hot papers, and 11 highly cited papers. He serves as a reviewer for the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Foundation Committee, and the European Union Research Council.

Prof. Long Liu

Harbin Engineering University, China

Biography:

Long Liu, male, who had obtained Ph.D. in Energy Science from Kyoto University, Japan. He is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and serving as the Director of the Institute of Electric Control Technology for Power Plants of Harbin Engineering University, China. From 2019 to 2021, he was also appointed as the deputy director of the Research & Development Department of China Shipbuilding Power Engineering Institute Co., LTD. He has been selected for National Young Talent Program, Outstanding Youth Program of Heilongjiang Provincial Natural Science Fund, Shandong Province Taishan Industry Leading Talents. He has achieved the “Shi Shaoxi Talent Award” of Chinese Society of Internal Combustion Engines, Innovation Award of China Industry-University-Research Cooperation, Youth Pioneer in Energy and Environment of China Environmental Protection Foundation. He is engaged in the fundamental and applied research on energy conversion science, marine engine combustion theory, low-carbon/zero-carbon fuels, combustion testing and control technology. He is the principal investigators of “Ye Qisun” Science Foundation of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National Key Research and Development Program, etc. He has published more than 60 papers, 2 ESI hot papers and 11 highly cited papers. He has been authorized 5 United States Patents more than 50 National Invention Patents. Currently, he is the Council Member and Deputy Secretary General of Chinese Society of Internal Combustion Engines, the Session Organizer of CIMAC Congress, and the GHG Emission Technical Expert of "Active Shipbuilding Experts Federation (ASEF)".
